Blue-Green Algal-Bloom - Eagle Lake

The North Bay District of the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) received notification regarding possible blue-green algal bloom in Eagle Lake, Machar Township

The MECP North Bay District regional office submitted samples for laboratory analysis and results have confirmed the occurrence of a blue-green algal bloom. Toxin analysis have indicated total microcystin's levels at 0.12 µg/L and anataxin-A levels at 0.72 µg/L.
